Therapeutic methods used to assist client in reaching the desired goals

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Focuses on identifying, understanding and changing thinking and behavior patterns. You are actively involved in your own recovery, as CBT provides a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Incorporates cognitive strategies by potentially reducing anxiety and mood symptoms, while increasing awareness of everyday experiences.  

Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

a short-term, goal focused therapeutic approach which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than dwelling on the problem.  


Person Centered Therapy (Rogerian)

This approach believes that every human being strives for and has the capacity to fulfill  his or her own potential. 

Trauma Focused

This approach is rooted in understanding the connection between the trauma experience and the emotional and behavioral responses. The client is offered skills and strategies to assist with coping and processing emotions. This method can also be combined with CBT.
